What Is The Average Conversion Rate For Online Real Estate Leads?

The national average conversion rate for internet leads is 2-3%. That means if you worked 100 internet leads and met the national average, over time you would see 2-3 closings from those 100 leads.

We consider “conversion rate” as one of those important numbers you need to track in real estate.

What is the average conversion rate for internet leads? If you are just starting off in real estate, or maybe you’re brand new, you maybe don’t have a huge sphere of influence a huge, huge database that’s giving you repeat or referral business. So you’re probably looking to some type of internet lead generation. So that can spark the question of what is the average conversion rate for internet leads? And the reality is, is there’s a couple different factors that play into this. But on average, you can expect to convert 2- 3% of your internet leads into closings over time. Now, the two things that impact exactly that that conversion rate is how well you’re going to follow up with your internet leads, how long you’re going to follow up with those internet leads, and ultimately where those internet leads came from. Right. So different Internet leads. Facebook versus Google Ads versus maybe it is someone who’s knows you likes you and trusts you already, but just happen to register on your website. Those different buckets are going to have different conversion rates, they’re going to take different lengths of time to actually convert. But ultimately your conversion rate is going to come down to your follow up systems. Long term. Internet leads usually do not convert quickly. It’s not someone who’s going to jump into your car tomorrow and buy a house. So you need to have long term follow up systems to convert real estate leads or online real estate leads long term being 6 -12 – 24 months out, but on average, you can expect to close 2-3%. If you have much better follow up systems you can get that up into the eight 910 percent in some rare instances, but you have to have fantastic follow up systems. I hope that helps.
