If you read the stats on internet lead conversion rates in real estate, you are probably wondering why it is so low.

In most cases, conversion rates for internet leads are low for a few reasons:

  1. People searching online usually sign up on more than one website
  2. People searching online are usually more than 3 months out from buying or selling a home. It’s not uncommon to have people sign up on your site that are 6-18 months out from transacting real estate.
  3. Most real estate Agents don’t have consistent follow-up systems that touch these leads systemically over time
